About Streamline Boost
An overstable fairway/distance hybrid with a 9.5 speed rating. The Boost offers a controlled driver slot with resistance to turn and a substantial finish without moving to a wider, faster rim.
The Boost is a Streamline solo-mold driver in the 19.5mm distance-driver class. Its fractional speed rating describes a position between familiar fairway and distance-driver slots. The production model is distinct from the earlier prototype approval; this page uses the published production ratings of 9.5 / 4 / 0 / 2.5.
Flight and shot selection
Try this flight profile for controlled drives where you want to commit to the throw and still plan for a finishing fade. Its zero turn rating points toward resistance to early drift at the intended speed. Lower-power throws may show a shorter flight and earlier fade, making a slower driver more practical for straight placement.
Flight ratings are guidelines. Plastic, weight, wear, wind, release angle and throwing speed can change the result. Turn and fade directions refer to right-hand backhand throws and reverse for left-hand backhands or right-hand forehands.
