About Discraft Sled
A placement-focused putt-and-approach disc with a rolled groove-top thumbtrack. The Sled combines low glide, workable turn and a defined finish for controlled short-game shots.
The Sled was created around the 2026 PDGA World Championships and the rolling terrain of the Toboggan course. Discraft describes its rolled groove-top thumbtrack as a distinctive grip feature for backhand approaches and touch forehands. The stock Z model carries 3 / 2 / -1 / 2 ratings on its manufacturer image.
Flight and shot selection
Think of the Sled as a control tool for short placement lines rather than a putter chosen for maximum float. The low glide rating lets you plan a more direct carry, while the turn and fade provide some shaping room. Try the thumb placement in your own grip before deciding whether the track helps your release.
Flight ratings are guidelines. Plastic, weight, wear, wind, release angle and throwing speed can change the result. Turn and fade directions refer to right-hand backhand throws and reverse for left-hand backhands or right-hand forehands.

Questions about Discraft Sled
What is the groove-top thumbtrack on the Sled?
It is a rolled groove on the upper surface intended to give the thumb a comfortable, defined placement. It is part of the mold’s grip design. Whether that shape fits your backhand or touch forehand is a personal hand-feel preference.
How can I check available plastics and weights?
Use the stock status above and the Choose your disc section. The plastic buttons update from available inventory, and each individual listing shows its own weight and price. If no options are shown, no matching individual discs are currently available. No restock date is promised.
