What do the numbers mean?
Speed
The throwing speed needed for the disc to fly as designed.
Glide
The tendency to stay aloft, compared with discs of similar speed.
Turn
Early-flight movement to the right for a right-hand backhand throw. More negative ratings suggest more turn.
Fade
The finish to the left as a right-hand backhand throw slows. Forehand and left-hand backhand directions are reversed.

About this disc

An understable disc for low-power placement, long turnovers and learning hyzer-flip lines. Its speed 6 rating makes it a useful option for controlled drives and longer placement shots without moving into the fastest distance class. A glide rating of 5 gives it room to carry through the middle of the flight when matched to a suitable throwing speed.

About Discraft Glide

An understable disc for low-power placement, long turnovers and learning hyzer-flip lines. Its speed 6 rating makes it a useful option for controlled drives and longer placement shots without moving into the fastest distance class. A glide rating of 5 gives it room to carry through the middle of the flight when matched to a suitable throwing speed. The -3 turn rating makes release angle especially important for turnovers and hyzer-flips, while the 1 fade rating describes the finish as the disc slows.

Flight and fit

A pronounced turning tendency makes it a candidate for hyzer-flips, turnovers and roller lines when thrown cleanly. The low fade rating favors a gentler finish, useful when you want a straighter landing direction.

Use it for controlled drives and longer placement shots. Start with a smooth release, then adjust power and angle to find the flight you want.

Choose your plastic and weight

Choose an in-stock plastic above, then compare the listed photo, weight and price in the individual-disc inventory. Tour Series, prototype and special-edition labels identify the particular release; they do not guarantee a universal change in flight.

Flight ratings are guidelines. Plastic, weight, wear, release angle, throwing speed and wind can change the result. Turn and fade directions are described for right-hand backhand throws and reverse for left-hand backhand or right-hand forehand throws.
